I can't believe it, I am a pinball machine owner!!! I found a minty HUO Lost in Space in my price range. I know that LiS doen't get much love, but its a really fun game. The guy was super nice. I had a good friend come with who owns around 10 pins and he agreed this thing was ultra nice. Now the drywall/painter needs to finish up already so I can go pick it up.

yea, it was the one off Craigslist, this thing looks brand new...I saw it when it posted yesterday but was to busy with game room stuff to reach out to him. When I sent him a email today I didn't think he was still going to have it but he did. I ran over there with a good friend and got it. Super nice guy too.

I couldn't believe how well a pin rounded off my gameroom when I got the first one. The problem is that I got 2 of the 3 cheap ones that I like.

Major frigging game budget busters compared to vids!

Yeah, I've heard some bad reviews on LiS, never actually played it to know either way, but all that matters is that you are happy with it. A lot of Data East/Sega/Stern pinballs are underrated around here, but ignore those people, its your game, and as long as your happy, your money was well spent.

Is it a A list game, no...is it really deep? Nope it isn't that either, but it is a fun inexpensive pin, in like new condition that i can just plug and play. For my first pin I don't want to be pulling my hair out off the bat as far as shoping it out and making it perfect and I also don't want to spend 4 grand, after building this game room out its no wonder I have anything left to buy anything.

It's not a A lister, but it is fun, and the multi-ball is a blast. When we were there my friend said if I don't buy it he would, and his line up includes Twilight Zone, Indiana Jones, Funhouse, Attack from Mars, Family Guy, Simpsons, Addams Family, White Water, Monster Bash, Championship Pub, Star Trek Next Gen and CV.

Im a huge science fiction fan and that game fits the bill well. I may go with Starship Troopers or Stargate next just to keep with the theme and to keep costs down.

Congrats, I started with one thinking, yeah one is enough, haha. Enjoy it man, their more fun than vids IMHO.

The spinning disc with the magnet for multiball is pretty cool. Lots of multiball
action it seems. Neat pin. Nice space theme.

Looks good - you are going to have a lot of fun with that.

Love the blue ramps.

Make sure you have a copy of the manual, either hardcopy or download a PDF.

Once you set it up:

1. Make sure the game is leveled properly - dead zero left/right, and about 6.5 degrees of pitch front/back. Makes a big difference in play.

2. Clean and wax the playfield. I use a soft cotton shop cloth dampened with some 91% Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Then Wax the surface of the playfield with a pure carnauba paste wax in a can, just like a car. You want pure wax, no polishing or cleaning wax. Buff it by hand to a shine.

3. Put in brand new hi-gloss pinballs - they are 1.50 each

4. I recommend new white rubber throughout, and new red rubber on the flippers. Also makes a huge difference in how the game plays.

5. Read the manual. Familiarize your self with the adjustment and diagnostic features - these will be essential in maintaining your pin.

6. Buy a copy of the How-To-Play Pinball DVD: "Pinball 101". This has helped be enormously.

7. CHANGE THE BATTERIES. Inspect the battery holder for any leakage or battery damage.

You are about to get bit by pinball fever.

here it is....

I always thought LiS would be a nice addition to a decent-sized collection. I think the light and sounds on that pin are awesome! Yes, it's relatively shallow and a multi-ball fest, but that can be a really good thing for a casual player.

Plus, as has been mentioned, the spinning disc/multiball start is a real crowd-pleaser.

Enjoy the pin, and start making room for the others that will invariably start appearing...

welcome zombie, you're officially infected... looks like I got another Sega one to keep an eye out for.. I'm a big fan of DE and Sega machines. My fav/first pin is Last Action Hero & I will never part with it, even though most people think the machine is meh..
