Hello all -I'm new to all of this...

My name is James and I live in Suwanee, GA. I have a cockpit Omega Race that is in pretty good condition, but does not work due to the circuit board being partially severed. I bought this in the eighties from a local arcade and it has sat in my basement ever since. I have the original paperwork, keys, etc. I am looking for a good home and hate to see it thrown away if someone could either fix it for me or I'd be willing sell it as a fixer upper or parts machine, or trade if feasible? Please let me know of your thoughts or advice.

Thanks,

James

Whatever you do, don't throw it away. You've come to the right place. An Omega Race cockpit is an exceedingly cool piece, and it is just a matter of time before someone here either helps you get it running or takes it off your hands for a fair price.

Exactly ^

Wish you were closer to me as I'd love to have one.

The circuit boards are almost always an issue in these games.

These Omega Race boards had a battery on them to store high scores and settings, but the batteries usually leaked over the years, causing corrosive damage to the traces on the circuit board.

Working Omega Race boards don't show up very often and may be expensive, but that's a relative term.

If that's the only thing that's wrong, then it would probably be worth it just to play it again!
