Omega Race upright for sale - fully working - Rescued survivor
I picked this game up after it had been abandoned for many years, languishing in the San Francisco Naval Ship Yard. The original thread about the machine is here: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=199787
At first I was a little cagey about whether or not it was the same machine. Those of you who know me, probably understand. Anyway, I'd rather not go into details publicly about how I managed to get the thing. But it does legitimately belong to me to sell. It's fully working and in relatively nice unrestored cosmetic condition.
The monitor has been gone through and capped, new HV diode, etc. Picture looks great. After I first put the new HV diode in, the pic would pulse pretty badly. It's just held in with 2 little cups and makes a pressure contact. I reseated them and it cleared it up nicely. But once in a while I think I detect a little pulsing still. So it probably should be soldered in. It's simple to do but I haven't gotten around to it yet and nobody has noticed it but me. Game play is great. The boards were refurbished by douglasgb (Thanks! Highly recommend this man for vector board repairs!) and tested and work great. They pass all tests. Minimal acid damage if any. I put new lights and starters in it as i recall....um...I think this is true but it might only be true for one of them now that I'm thinking about it. They both work good in any case.
The sideart is in decent condition. Where I have it now I can't take pictures of the sides easily. But there are plenty in the other thread. It cleaned up pretty nice. The CPO looks a little faded to me but it's complete. I'm asking $450 or best offer.
Thanks for looking! Oh, here's a few more current pics. See the other thread for more:
Yes, that's a reflection of my F-14 pin in the pic. Sorry about that! It's for sale too by the way...
