First off what the hell is it for and do I need to replace it? It was already removed from my power supply so just trying to figure out the next step.

Are you talking about the high score save battery on the mother board? I've not heard of a power supply battery before.

Nope one on the power supply location B101

All hell was just looking at the schematics looks like I have a slightly different power supply anyone know if this one will work in Omega race? It's an A082-90412-D000 instead of the A082-90413-D000 in the manual.

Heres another omega race related question my main motherboard is missing (U103) 78m12 and (U104) 7815 voltage regulators. I found a power supply with a 7815CT voltage regulator so that takes care of the U104 my question is this power supply also has a 7812CT on it is that the same as the 78m12?

Yes the 7811CT is a 12v reg, at 1A. The 78m12 is still a 12 volt, but I think it's rated at only .5A. Should work.

Sounds like someone may have modified the Omega Board to run with the (Tron I think) power supply.

Well I got these parts from all over the place so might just be the guy stole a few parts off the motherboard. Its that one digit difference in the power supply that's got me worried.

Dam not the same Very minor differences the 9 pos connection is the same all except for pin 6 which on omega race is 12v and this Tron supply its 15v. The 15pos connector has several differences pins 9 and 12 are the coin door lights on omega race and its pins 11 and 14 on the tron. Pin 1 is 8v on the omega race and 5v on the tron the rest on that connector seems the same. The other 15 pin connector pin 2 isn't labeled on the Tron so have no idea what it is and its -5v sense on the omega race and pin 8 is logic gnd on the tron and 5v on the omega race. Plus I think the 3 pos connector is a little different as well so in short its not going to work unless modified and I would rather get the right part to begin with.

So anyone have a A082-90413-D000 power supply they want to trade for a A082-90412-D000?

Ok I have the correct power supply now. Can some one tell me the fuse value on the PCB mine is missing. The manual calls for a .0375A fuse which just seems really low to me.

I know I don't, and nether did Radio Shack. I went there and amazingly they had every part I wanted I was shockled to say the least.. It was certainly better than waiting for them to come in the mail.
