So I finally combined a couple of Omega Race boards into one and it is now playing blind so I've made progress!

My first question....what's the best way to test to see if it's the game board or the monitor that's the problem? I have a logic probe and a digital meter but no scope. The spot-killer LED is lit.

Looking for suggestions on where to start. Thanks guys!

Ok I recapped the monitor and I'm still getting nothing. So I found a wiring diagram in the 19V2000 monitor manual and I measured between the "X Input" and "X Ground" pins and got about 12 voltes. Measured between the "Y Input" and "Y Ground" pins and also got about 12 volts.

But when I measure between the "Z input" and "Z ground" I get nothing. Zero. Zip.

So it's probably my game board that is still hosed, right? Any ideas where to start looking?

Update for all those who have been waiting with baited breath.....

I pulled the monitor and plugged it into my working Asteroids Deluxe cab and...the spot killer light comes on there too. So it's an issue with the monitor. So....I'll move over to the monitor repair section now.
