1 Week has passed an no board
Well, I should have expected this. I got the email on Fri morning at 8:30 am that my board was fixed and how much the charges were. I paid through paypal within 5 minutes of receiving the email. I figured he'd ship the board out on Friday maybe Saturday at the latest. I've come home excited each day from work only to find nothing has arrived. The elektron forge shop is 1 short hour north of where I am so it should only take 1 day to ship anything to me. I email Alex on Tuesday asking if he had shipped my board yet and he didn't reply. I'm really at the end of my rope with this guy. I haven't even seen the boards yet so I don't know how his repairs are. He came highly recommended. I want to say that he has absolutely no communication skills. I sent my board to him on Jan 4th and never heard a thing until March 15th telling me he was starting on my board.
I sent him literally 6 emails from Jan to March asking if he had received my board since I didn't hear anything. No reply. This is completely unacceptable in my book and I will not be sending any more repairs to elektron forge, nor will I recommend them for any types of repair.
It would take literally 1 min to compose an email "hey, I got your boards will fix them when I get a chance".
Has anyone else had an experience like this? Is this an isolated incident? I think people need to know what to expect when dealing with this guy.
