Can someone help me out by taking pictures of the interior of their Omega Race Cocktail? I have one but all the boards are gone Just wanted to see what everything looks like when its together. This will give me a better Idea of where stuff goes and what the PCB's look like when I go to find them.

Upright and Cockpit here, or I would :/ .

Ok, it's been like 11 days thought I would try again and see if anyone had an Omega race cocktail that they could take some inside pictures of for me.

It seems the more I dive into my Omega race CT the more I notice Is missing inside can any one tell me what exactly I'm missing here it looks like a Transformer has be swiped and I guess the Filter block. It almost looks like a piece of the wire harness is missing because I don't see anything to connect the other CP to.

Maybe someone can provide better pictures or has some of the missing parts.

Omega Race uses odd voltages that you aren't going to be able to get from a switching power supply.

Another thing to consider is that due to how many PCB's have been killed by battery corrosion, working Omega Race boards go for $200 or more.

Well I see 12V, 5V I guess -5V Manual says "5V" COM so I guess that's -5V which are all on a Standard power supply. Then I see 8V and 15V I see unregulated next to them Could you Just use another power Supply and jack up the voltage so the 5V is 8V and that would in turn raise the 12V up to 15V Unless there is -8V and -15V in there it should work. It might even change the -5V lug to -8V as well.

The manual confused me at first, being used to Atari manuals. When you see the voltages listed with 'com', it's actually ground. For example when the manual shows "5v." COM it's really the ground return line.

The original supplys seem to be pretty reliable once rebuilt, and shouldn't be too hard to find with all the dead games due to battery damage. I'd still suggest finding an original one.

AH good to know I had no idea WTF they meant by that and now I know.

off the xformer taps i see, 18 v h, 18v center tap, 18v low <-going to board 3 pin connector, 3.16v,0, 3.16v going to ps board, 6.3v,0, 6.3 heater voltage?? 30v, 0, 30v <--- going to monitor

the big MT89A that plugs into the filter assy has 9VAC and 15VAC i think comming out of it unreg.

caps in filter assy are 100,000mfd/uf 30vdc and 55,000 mfd/uf 25vdc

3 pin connector voltages are the one with 3.16v... im guessing the battery charger circuit???

Both are on ebay right now from the same seller, but I think his prices are way out of line at $50 plus shipping for each. Maybe you could email him and get them for less, or put an ad in the wanted section.

I need some more pictures of the wiring I have two brown wires coming off the one transformer the one with the wire harness coming out of it that plugs into the filter block. These brown wires where cut not sure where they go. Plus any other pictures of the wiring would be much appreciated. I just made some major headway with this project today. I finished off the monitor rebuild for the most part 2 of my caps where wrong. Now I'm in reassembly stage.
