Omega Race Cocktail Overlay or Reproduction Printed Glass?

I don't even know how many people out in KLOVland own an Omega Race cocktail machine, but I would love to get a repro silkscreened glass made or possibly get a nice high quality underlay made. If not just to preserve my in-relatively-good-shape top glass.

Anyone? Bueller?

Omega Race cocktail machines must be like rare steak.

You either really love them or you order something else well done.

Any fellow Omega Race Cocktail owners out there?

I think I have 2 omega race cocktails and neither boardset is working. I am going to convert them to multi-games as the demand for omega race in my area is nil. I'm not sure of the quality of the glass on either. I think one is broken and the other is pretty beat up.

The glass on mine is very good. The art is clean and crisp and there is very little flaking. The concern I have is the scratches on the glass and keeping mine nice. I'd like to get an underlay and a nice midway top glass to make it -look- new. But I don't really need it. :) It's just a want.

thanks to the collector that brought their omega race cocktail to cax. played the hell outa it. omega race is one of the awesome games that hardly gets any attention either ur, cabaret, cocktail or cockpit. pretty small following. I would reach out to one of the printers out there and get my own made up. I don't see them running a batch of these any time soon!

Classic game though I remember it fondly as an upright. I think I generally dislike all cocktails. I did see a cabaret of omega race that was cool.

Omega Race is suited quite well to the cocktail format. There are some unique behaviors to the 2 player game play too. For instance, player 1 is not always the player that starts.

It is Bally/Midway's only foray into the vector market. For a one off--it certainly hits a chord with those who know and love the game. Personally, I think it is a much more interesting game than the iconic Asteroids from which it is obviously inspired.

While I think the upright is one of the most interesting cabinets, my personal preference would be to get one of those crazy cockpit versions.

I've been wondering if this was intentional or a problem with mine since I got it.

Cockpit is definitely the most bad-ass Omega Race cabinet. I have the CT and mini, but the CT may be donating parts to get the mini going.

That was a blast!

i have one coming fast eddie has it be here this week. one of the best cocktails. had a blast playing that and asteroids especially the warlords

I have an upright project. Cabinet is separating and will have to be clamped and glued. Piecing it together from misfit parts. That said, the cabinet front and sides are really nice.

I'm about 95% on building the new main PCB. Plan on full restore on game.
