Omega Race cocktail - beautiful & fully working (Minnesota)

*** GAME HAS BEEN SOLD ***

For sale: Omega Race cocktail, $600 cash, FIRM - I WON'T TAKE LESS THAN $600 [price reduction from $650]

Beautiful game, fully-working, completely gone-through, just-shy of HUO. I've put a lot of money and a lot of hours of labor into this game to bring it up to its full potential.

Available for pickup in Twin Cities metro area. Non-local buyers would need to make their own shipping arrangements. I can wrap & prep for shipping. PM me if interested in buying.

Extensive set of photos at:

Details:
Beautiful. Fully Working. Everything in and on the game has been cleaned and polished.
Artwork on glass top is in great shape. Typical light scratches in glass.
New t-molding, leg levelers, AC power cord, lamps, fuses, fuse holders.
Power supply rebuilt.
New big filter capacitors.
New speakers.
Beautiful G05-805 vector monitor. Fully rebuilt.
NO acid damage on game board. Lithium battery & blocking diode installed so that it remembers the high scores when turned off. All new electrolytic caps on both boards. New cpu sockets on both boards. All connector pins on sound board replaced with new. All connector pins and/or housings that go to both boards were replaced with new.

I'm reluctant to break up my Omega Race trifecta, but owning three working Omega Races is both selfish and a little silly...

Alan

Let's just say based on what I saw Alan do to wrap up the cab just to take it home in the bed of his truck, I'd say with confidence that you'll do yourself a favor to let him pack it for you to ship it. It was VERY well wrapped and secured.

Buy with confidence, good seller here. And FANTASTIC product - I've seen his work on another KLOV'ers cab, and it's beautiful.

I also used to own this cocktail, and I can tell you it's a thing of beauty. About as close to HUO as you'll ever get.

Very very nice. How much shipping prep would you be able to do (from zero to wrap, pallet & deliver to depot)?

I can certainly do a cardboard and stretch wrap job suitable for NAVL/STI type transport with pickup at my house. For an example of how I packed a pinball game, see the bottom of this web page:

If I scrounged, I could probably find a pallet to sit it on. I can't offer delivery to a freight depot. However, I could likely get it to my workplace. I think that most freight companies only charge an extra $20 or so to pick something up at a business (that has a dock or forklift).

PM me if you're interested.

I was browsing this thread again, and was reminded just how beautiful this machine was. A real find.

Probably the nicest cabinet I'll ever own, even if it was for only a short time.

Adam, you need to have a party soon, so we can all come over and enjoy this cab.

The spring one went kaput. Surgeries for the fiancee and such.

I'm thinkin' a fall party is in order. I will get the ball rollin'...

*edit* Just repaired S.T.U.N. Runner, Robotron, Defender, Joust and Tempest. Also added original buttons to DK and I'll be putting an original joystick on it this week too.
