I had mine at cax and it had a standard black and white monitor, another guy had his there with what I would describe as a blue-ish overlay or something like that. I didn't look inside the game.

so, I am assuming mine should have a blue overlay of some type.

Does anyone make these, or have any cheap easy tricks if you don't have an original?

Yes, they are blue in the cabaret/ cocktails. I know there was a link way-back in one of the discussions as to find a suitable substitute. My want to try Mylstar here on the forums for a source as well as a few other gents may be able to help...

Tron Guy I think the uprights have a Yellow overlay, pretty sure mine does. I actually think mine had an extra one in the bottom of the cabinet. When I get home I'll check it out I'll let you know.

I know the full size is yellow. Not sure on cabaret. I might have that overlay here somewhere, don't remember if it was on that game or not. Did the game survive the show ok ?

yeah, it made it through great. I am almost certain when I gave you this game is did NOT have an overlay. I just happened to see another cabaret at the show and it had a blue screen. I like it the way it is honestly, but if I could get an overlay at a reasonable price, I'd consider it.

Omega Race uprights should have a yellow screen overlay. Mini and cocktail cabinets should have a blue overlay.

I used Roscolux filter gels: 312 canary yellow and 71 sea blue. Available from numerous online sources, or check local theatrical supply outfits.

I ended up getting the 71 sea blue, it looks great. Well it's not installed yet, but it looks great in a roll in my hand. :)

How do you guys 'install' this? Do you just lay it directly on the monitor and try to keep wrinkles out? lay it on the bezel? I'd be interested in knowing what size you guys trimmed it to (if you did trim it).
