Have the deflection and high voltage boards been gone over for bad solder connections?
Recapped? That's where you should start checking before buying the main filter capacitors. Looks like the monitor doesn't get any power/filtering from that block any way.

Yes they have been re capped I should probably recap the Linier power supply?

Yes, replace the capacitors on the power supply. Then report back.
Cleaning up the voltage going to the game boards is always a good thing.

Did you happen to replace the x & y linearity pots? I just cleaned up a V2000 chassis and it needed the x linearity pot replaced to get the image 100% stable. It'd be worth a shot if you didn't already do it.

Thx for all the tips it's actually working pretty good just has the odd shake I will recap the power supply and give the other suggestions a look. Jeff your Omega Race looks great now

Took a while to find time but finally got to this today. I recapped the power supply and the game is now working great. This was a long project as I only had the gutted cabinet and had to find all the parts. I used a spare Battlezone monitor that I had, the wiring harness was in there still, I bought the boards for around $300 but felt it was worth it as I already had the monitor and got the cabinet given to me. ( the cabinet is in great condition) nice to play this again after 20 + years!

Thanks for all the help guys,

Braido...
