nice pickup!

yeah I can't stand when people drill freeplay buttons into coin doors. I mean seriously, are you that freakin lazy? What's the point of owning an arcade game in the first place??

man you find a lot of nice games down there...when you run into a qix let me know..its next on my want list..

The best free play job I saw pulled one of the stove bolts out of the coin door perimeter, ran the free play switch wires through the hole, and then used the bolt to keep the wires in, so you had it all easy to remove and put back to original if you wanted.

Why would anyone drill an Owl Eye? Gadzooks!

Best-looking one I've ever seen in a modern collection. Awesome!

Yah I can't complain about its shape it's still sitting on it's shipping base so its taller than a normal cocktail, This is the 1st Black and white raster scan monitor I have ever seen / owned in my collection. I just opened the coin mech and side panel to reveal the origional WG monitor owners manual and the 1978 football origional owners manual. The guy I bought it from said he has owned it since 1980 and bought it from a coin op thats still in business in my area called "dilts and sons". These 4.5" track balls feel like your rolling a crocque ball around. And the Gap between the Track ball and the control panel is wide enough to loose some major skin from your fingers and palm of your hand. LOL

Fred all of the bulbs are currently working, for thoes that didn't know I had a small BBQ that Fred was in helping me transport a trade deal I had worked out with another KLOVer. every thing was going good, all my arcade machines were on, vintage home game consols being played and POOF, I blew up a breaker in my house. Damn does it suck to host a Arcade party and BBQ with no working electricty in your basement. all because I replaced a 5v coin door bulb that I noticed burned out. that little bulb set the amp rating over the edge i guess.

Excellent oldie score, never the less. Congrats' Have fun!

just watch your fingers/hands in those TBs! "ouch"
Yeah, the pinches and the finger jams can be brutal when you're goin at it hard... Not to mention the palm pounding punishment.

:DThey can be some real clunkers

Very nice, I have not seen a working one. It looks nice in the pics!
Now that you mention it, I haven't seen one in this day and age...

Played BITD, around that time at Aladdin's Castle. It was always being played and a line...

Don't think I ever scored a touchdown

Are you talking about the base with the woodgrain on it?

If so, that's not a shipping base: it's an option to make it taller.

Looking at the pics I thought those had to be NOS/repro decals all around. I was 50% certain the woodgrain was a remodel. If that thing's all original (sans the dill hole's drill hole) then that is a HELLUVA find.

I picked one up 3 or so months ago not working and C- on looks. I aim to get to it some day. It's a classic for sure.

Tofu, that's seriously cool. Honestly, I wouldn't have one for myself, but the fact that it exsists, and someone is passionate enough to care for it is enough for me. Very very cool.

And I remember first hand the days of playing stuff like that, not that that matters.

Yah, I miss read this paragraph on the owners manual. it was attached from Atari for shipping "convenience". I just learned to comprehend sentences today. LOL
