Did i mention ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

That's a really thick manual considering the arcade version is pretty much self explanatory.

It probably has to do with Toni, Bruno and the addidtion of the 30fps mode and such.

I totally want this, but I do not have an Intellivision. I might need to go buy one so I can justify getting this.

Wait a second...something's amiss... I've played this, but from a totally different publisher. I'll report back if I find out anything.

EDIT:

I wrote about this game last year on Retroids.com, only it was the DK1 they are also selling on that site http://gamesforyourintellivision.com/d1k-arcade.html (touted as Donkey Kong Arcade when I wrote about it). I also bought one from the programmer who was offering it for sale. My best guess is that he sold it to this publisher and reprogrammed some of the levels to create a DKII, as it was only a limited run on his site. http://www.intellivision.us/ Note: It's nowhere to be seen on that site any more.

Classic Game Room has reviewed it on Youtube.

The only thing I find odd is the jump sounds from the Colecovision version. Intellivision games always had a distinct sound to them.

So I think I understand what's going on here but someone dumb it down for me.

Someone has produced a cartridge of D2K that will play in an early 80's intellivision?

cool

Thats correct. There was also a remake of DK that had all 4 levels and much better graphics, which I suppose was the genesis of this.

Damn! Why do I want this? I don't even have an Intellivision! I hated that system! :)

MUST. RESIST.

Yep, that's the one released in 2011 that I was talking about. This one is the original programmer's (Carl Mueller Jr.) revamp of the game with D2K levels where he got his own publisher and released it in 2012.
