So I need to get myself a really old keyboard 1980's that will work with an old Corona (IBM clone.) preferably one that has an r12 AKA telephone cord plug.

Oh! Corona! I have fond memories of those. Which color and drive configuration?

Two wire or 4 wires? That's called RJ11 in telephone vernacular.

Once it's for wire technically six I guess I'm not really versed in these old phone cords but when I can read it would accept an r2 or 12 as far as the housing but I'm not 100% sure between the two just based on what little I can find out there looks like it would be an r12 but I'm willing to try anything I just can't blow a lot of money on a lot of dead end keyboards. Trying to get it up and running before Christmas for my dad

I've been looking around for you. It's hard to tell from the pictures I'm finding, so please post a picture of the model you have, as well as a close-up of the keyboard input. That was a long time ago, but I recall 4-wires, so who knows. Of course, they had multiple models.

Yeah I have a PPC 400. Looks pretty much the same as the PPC 22 although I don't know the difference
