OK, who got my free Operation Wolf in Albany Today?!!

Just got to vent a little.

So Friday was my birthday. I was thinking "i know I don't have any money but maybe I'll get lucky and find a free game today".

There was an add on craigslist for a garage sale that also mentioned arcade game. So I go over there and find a minty but non-working operation wolf. I was willing to pay for it but the guy was like " My father just wants it gone I think. Let me get your number and we'll call you tomorrow when he's around." I proceeded to tell the guy that I was just down the street and could make a quick pick-up.

Saturday - I invite my brother and his truck over for the whole day just in case I get the call. I check my machine constantly and carry my phone around all day. Nothing. So I'm thinking it's gone. Bummer.

Today I look at my answering machine at 11am and there's a message. From 2 pm Saturday!!! WTF?! I was here with the phone in my pocket all day waiting.
The only conclusion I could come up with is that I have my phone through Ooma VoIP. Must have had something to do with the messaging service on it.

Long story short... I call right away today and the woman was like "The other guy is driving away with it right now".

I gotta take a break from craigslist. 3 years trying and 5 missed free games. This one I really wanted!!! This is causing to much of an emotional problem for me! HAHA!

If the guy who got it is who I think it was then he has one more game collecting dust in one of his 3 storage units! COME ON DUDE! HAHA!

When you find yourself wanting to get rid of it later on when you need more space please drop me a line!

(End of rant and whining)

Sorry, that sucks. But I just have to ask. If you lived right down the street and you had a truck accessible all day yesterday, why didn't you just take the drive and show up to ask about it again yesterday afternoon?? I know I would have if I really wanted something.

I thought about taking a drive over a few times but I got suckered into cleaning up a laptop full of viruses and reinstalling the OS blah blah blah...

I know I didn't do everything I should have. I could have stopped by like you mentioned or given the one guy $10-$20 just for the little more time to get things working in my favor.

I just mowed the lawn for 2 hours and I have a wicked sunburn now which has taken my mind off the whole situation. I hope whoever got it gets it going and enjoys it.

Thanks. I'll keep you in mind also. I sometimes see cheap stuff but don't jump on it because of no room or interest in a particular game.

Unfortunately I don't have much room either. My goal is to get mostly games that have different style controls.

Operation Wolf is one of those examples with it's gun controller. :)

This is such a sad story. It took me two weeks to get my operation wolf working 100% mostly problems with the gun. But now i enjoy the hell out of it.that is when the kids are not playing.
