Im in the process of restoring the legs on my WCS94. They were originally a gold color and i matched them close to perfect. Now for the dumb question. Were the leg bolts painted gold too? if they were how should i paint them without messing them up installing them. At first i thought use a small brush and just brush the gold paint onto them after they are bolded on tight.....any other ideas?

Here is an ad, hard to tell.

You can use non marring tool. I have seen inserts for a socket that is plastic that is non marring. Can't seem to find them at the moment. If I find them I will post where to find it.

thanks. They look to me to be gold as well. I guess ill just brush paint them after i bolt the legs on. The add looks like the legs are gold plated and not painted....or is that just me?

Just paint the bolts, let dry for awhile, then put a plastic bag over your socket wrench. Be careful, but it wont scratch it with the plastic bag over the socket. Ive been doing it that way for a long time with no issues. Hope this helps

Take care
