Hey all!

Long story short. My mother has had her Mousin' Around for a year and a half
now. It's still being played a lot, but I think the time has come to get a new one
in. At this time she only wants one at a time:)

So, the wife and I have looked at suitable machines. The theme should be light
and maybe cartoony, no T2 or Stargate here. It has to have some multiball and
some ramps. Also, the theme should be well implemented:)

I was thinking of couple of different machines, like Funhouse and Black Rose but my
wife shot both down. So we've come to the following options so far.

Diner (wife and I think this is the best looking pinball ever)
Revenge From Mars
Who Dunnit

Any advice as to what machines I could include? It should be System 11 or later, like
1986 and up.

Thanks!

Nicholas

Diner and Taxi are both great. Who Dunnit is a lot of fun, but it's hard for newcomers to understand what is going on. I have a Revenge From Mars and really like it. For cartoony stuff, The Simpsons Pinball Party is fantastic if you can afford it.

Willams, Flintstones or DE, Rocky and Bullwinkle. Both family friendly games.

Hey!

Thanks for the ideas!

Well, Taxi looks great for our project, but the Santa on the side puts it out.

I'll look into Rocky & Bullwinkle, even though it's a theme that has never been here
(Denmark)

She never really watched The Simpsons....but she likes cartoons like Daffy etc. But
Bugs Bunny pinball doesn't have multiball, which is quite annoying. It's an awesome
looking machine.

Ok Popeye was a good idea, but it's out due to not liking Popeye:)

Fish Tales is an AWESOME idea, very very good looking machine, but hard
to come by...and maybe a little too expensive

I looked at Rocky & Bullwinkle...also a nice machine. Anyone tried it ? Is it fun?

Thanks:)

Rocky & Bullwinkle is fun and very cartoony, but it is hard to "get it" if you never watched the cartoon, which is also very fun and very weird.

Santa eliminates Taxi??? Whatever.

Besides these suggestions, how about Space Jam? Basketball theme with Looney Tunes characters. Fun game!

Well, Yeah Santa removes Taxi:) Unless it's only to be used at christmas

Space Jam is almost awesome....but Jordan removes it:) Maybe if Tweety had
been in his place

Bally Game show is an ok pin with a well done theme, IMO. They are usually not expensive, but they aren't the greatest game in the world, either. If your mom watches price is right, etc - it would be right up her alley.

Hook is an ok game - peter pan theme - who doesn't like peter pan? These usually show up pretty often.

Tee'd off is ok. Golf theme, but funny and fun.

Maverick is ok. Themed after the movie - but it has an old west type vibe to it.

No Good Gophers is pretty well done too.

I love the theme to Fire!. I think it's really well done, but probably not something she would want.

Hope I could help.

Hey!

No Good Gofers is pretty much spot-on, but they tend to be expensive these days:(

Tee'd Off looks a little...eh....off?

Burt, she doesn't want the Santa all year round, sorry:) ..Even though we're very
fond of christmas!

And what's wrong with Michael Jordan? Is this about pinball or somebody's quirky preferences/prejudices?

I think you are spot on! You cannot judge a pin by a face or artwork. If that is what you plan on doing forever why not just keep the mousin' around and buy you a mame cabinet instead.

I had never seen the Rocky & Bullwinkle pin until this past weekend. My wife played it and she loved it. So now I am picking it up this weekend for her Xmas present. I wanted a pin that our 7 year old daughter would like as well and I think this is a good choice. I already have her watching Rocky & Bullwinkle episodes on Netflix streaming.
