Back in 2007 when I bought my first game (tron cocktail) for like $1300 shipped or something astronomical like that, it was in the house.

That was 2 houses ago (we are buying now) and probably 50+ games coming in and out of my garage.

Anyway, it's been so cold lately at night here (high 20's, I know it's nothing compared to the rest of the country), the kids and I talked momma into bringing 1 into the house. It's the biggest pile of shit cab I have, but it works perfectly, with the 96 in 1 installed.

I just wish my 'cade had insulation... Day is fine (little chilly) but then evening-night is FREEEEEEEEEEEEZING. I've had games glitch due to it. The odd thing is, in summer and fall, it gets hot as hell in there at the same times as in winter it gets cold...

Love the quarter in the marquee. I used to do the same with marquees untilI got a 6Pac and a brand spankin' new TB bezel that I wouldn't want to scratch even though it's more durable than any glass I've seen. :)
I wish I could have 2 cabarets, and put one in my room. It would make a great nightlight.

Consider insulating your garage if possible...

My attached garage is sitting at about 60 degrees... not bad considering it's 3 outside right now. I simply run an electric oil heater on the lowest wattage at about half way up the thermostat...

yeah I'm thinking about it, haven't done any research yet.

It would be easy enough (though a bunch of work) to put insulation in the walls and sheetrock it. What do guys do with the ceiling? With a garage door opener present? I'd probably
have to lay down plywood up top and install some insulation on top of it, but that would leave the garage door mechanism open to drafts.
Like I said, I know nothing of how to do it, though I'm sure I could handle the job once I determine the proper way to do it.

That was very honourable of her -- and it looks like the game is in the living room, no less! Any time I had to leave a game in the living room to coordinate getting it downstairs (which is labour intensive since I have to lug it back outside, down the side of the house, down some stairs, and through a back basement window), the clock was always ticking. Once it's downstairs, harmony returns to the land.

whoa! that's in great shape.

This game has now been demoted to the garage due to it's apparent "stench"
replaced with golden tee 2002 fore :)

Nice... when my wife went out of town with the kids. I broke down an old entertainment center and brought in my lone pinball machine, our kids machine (JAMMoppet) and my HD X360 powered candy cab.
