I'm going to convert an old Mr. Do's castle/centipede into a 60 in 1 multi game with an Ohio State theme. Does anyone know where I can get a vector file for a stencil for the Ohio State block O? I'll be posting pictures of the project as it comes along. First update will be tonight. I have to gut the cab and sand the old paint.

someone on here already did that...cant remember the name though...maybe he will post....looked pretty cool.

I might just take this one and make a stencil out of it. Seems pretty straight forward. Just going to cut out the color Im doing at the time.

Sounds like a really cool idea. I am originally from Ohio and am a huge OSU fan... even though I now live in MN. Dude, post pics of it!

I might just use a big sticker on the side if I can't find a decent stencil. The picture I found isn't a vector image so I can't blow it up big enough to make a decent stencil.

still not a vector, but fairly high resolution, could probably vectorize it a bit easier.

or this, slightly different block O. http://osutucson.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/OSUAA_Logo_4_Color_Block_O.139180755.jpg
Thanks a lot. This one looks great. I am going to paint the cabinet crimson so this would look great. Here are some pics. I stripped the cabinet of all the internals and started to sand the sides.

Progress continues

I've elected to paint the cabinet scarlet with a 4" gray stripe down the middle and gray t-molding to match. I think this thing is going to come out really sharp when it's done. Here are some pics of my progress so far. I coughed up the money for the frog tape because people at work were raving about it. I hope the lines come out nice. I'm planning on painting gray in the middle of the taped area and then putting a coat of white or black where the actual tape is now.

After 5 coats of red I've pulled the tape off and it looks great. Frog tape is definitely worth the extra price. The paint has a perfect razor sharp edge.uploadfromtaptalk1313374915322.jpg

I'm going to give it a few more days to dry then retape and paint the stripe gray. Then I'll do the same on the other side.

I finished this up and delivered it. I wanted to put an OSU symbol on it, but no local signmakers would print the trademarked symbol for me.
