Just want to gather interest on anyone wanting in on a group buy for a Sega New Astro City candy cab. There is a thread on here with some details on these cabs already however im starting this new thread to garner interest in my surrounding area.

Price for these before customs and sea freight charges is $400. Estimation for sea freight and custom charges should add another $50 but again thats estimation only. Shipping can fluctuate based on parties involved and their locations however at this time i intend on splitting shipping equally.

So far I have 2 that's guaranteed to ship to me with 2 other parties interested as well.

Cabs will be shipped to my house and held for 30 days for pick up. This is really a great opportunity to pick up one of these cabs if you reside in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania areas.

Details to secure a cab is a 20% non refundable deposit + 4% paypal add on to pay paypal fees with remainder of balance estimated time of shipping first of September.

PM me for more details as I plan to finalize these within 24 hours.

DETAILS from Seller
THIRTY (30) SEGA New Astro City Cabinets
- No Screen Burn
- Guaranteed Working condition
- Majority of them have 2L12B Control Panels, though we can pretty much give you whatever you want (We will have 1/2L 3/6/2B CP's and we are working on fabricating custom panels)
- Cabinets will be cleaned/reconditioned before they are shipped out (we can include new Sanwa parts for an additional fee, cheaper than what it would cost you new)
- Cabinets will be in our possession and ready to go no later than the first week of September

This is what they should look like but we wont be getting any boards with this and CP setups may be different. This picture is NOT a representation of the cabs we are getting. Im using this random picture of a Sega New Astro City to show you the style of this particular brand of cab.

Hey Swolgam did you just put your order in for 2 recently, like yesterday? I am thinking that your cabs may make 22 sold, so there might only be 8 unspoken for at this time.

Nice, sounds like this is going to happen. Glad you were able to get some without having to drive forever to pick them up.

Tempting....I just don't like the overall design. Would be great for a multi conversion with that big 29" monitor...

Too bad they look like a washing machine that just threw up.

If you have children and/or are into the japanese type games then this is for you. It will run the retro stuff fine and 60 in 1 boards fine but yea they are definately different looking. My buddy has 2 and im hooked each time i go over there.

I always wanted one . I think they're great for Jamma games , swapping boards in and out .

Nuckinfutz68 got one at the last auction in Ohio last month. He put his multi in it for his kid, and rather cool, but I just can't see me getting one. Just the room is an issue here. Just wouldn't look right next to my classics.

I will have mine mixed in with classics, pinballs and console games and it will look just fine ;)

Looks like we have 3 on board. 1 more and this will be finalized deal in the area. I know someone in the area wants one of these. Believe me when i say shipping is CHEAP

just wanted to add Sega new astrocities are awesome cabs. Very reliable and easy to rotate the monitor if you lay it on its back. Almost as easy as the taito egret II's. I'd be wary of the seller claiming zero burn though. My friend imports these on a regular basis and out of 30 cabs, there might be 3-4 with zero burn. Burn in isnt a deal killer though. Most times you won't notice it unless its in a bright room. You definitely shouldn't notice any when the game is powered on unless its severe.

Thanks fatherpain for the insight. The seller has some good feedback but yea I dont mind too much burn in and i guess worse case scenario is i can replace with millions of the monitors/TV CRT's being given away on craigslist.

Again this is still available. PM me if you want further details. Shipping looks to be $280 for 4 cabs.

The shipping price is pretty good. We are only 6 units away from this deal going through.
