Actually Arcadeshop sells that control panel already pre-made for a pac/ Ms. Pac cab. Swap control panels, use the Pac to Jamma adapter and you have permanently altered nothing. It'll be OK.

Exactly - This is an AS control panel. I'm keeping the original, untouched Pac control panel, as well as the original PCB, boxed up near the machine. Hopefully I can hang on to my membership card.

I will bring up your case at the next meeting of the secret order of arcade game preservationists known as PETA : People for the Ethical Treatment of Arcade games ( seriously, who gives a sh!t about animals when arcade games are suffering) . We will review it and let you know of our decision. The fact that the original pcb is boxed up and kept near the machine will help your case immensely.
Just put this together. It's going in a fully restored Pacman cab with a 60-1: Ultimarc Mag-Stik Plus, Happ 2 1/4" Trackball and yes...all three buttons. I call it the ArcRevival special.
I can't take any credit for the work on this awesome cpo, but it does work well on the Pac cab. I just put this back together, still waiting on stencils, but I'll be posting a resto thread soon:
