Only thing better than the Coolaid man busting through some walls? ROBOMINEMINEMINE!!!! YESSSS!!! Clean insides, little ply damage on the bottom from moving around over the years, but generally sound side art. Boots up but has a RAM issue, shouldn't be that tough to sort out.

Man am I excited! This was my "grail", picked up for $400. I had to be persistent with a old CL ad, sent a few emails before I finally got through. This was a beloved machine, and I intend to care for her well.

laid it on it's side instead of back for the ride??? why?

welcome to the club.

Awesome addition to your collection! That is one game that's on me to get list. :D

Congrats, nice score! Looks to be in nice shape, and you even got a manual with it. Out of all the games I've ever purchased, I don't think any have ever included the manual. Less than 30 minutes to get it working too, awesome!

Is that a Williams badge on the coin door?

We laid her on the side because there was only 1 bolt securing the monitor tray in. It was probably fine, but I didn't want to chance it sliding back and snapping the neck or something.

DP, there's 3 things there, none are Williams. First is a AL plate with the #256 on it. Second is a NO REFUNDS sticker, and thirdly a warning about the coin door being set to trigger an alarm. Looks like full docs here, including two inventory sheets from when the game went into service with Video Games, Inc. of Huntsville, AL, where the owner came from. Begin date on the first ticket is 6-616-83 with 730 on the meter. The second ticket is when it went into service at a Wal Mart 3 years later, with over 15,000 plays added to it! Cool stuff.

what i do with Robotrons (any williams for that matter) i replace the feet, and the blocks for the feet. Make three 1.5 X 1.5 blocks per corner. Drill a hole in the center of each for the threaded leg levelers. Take one block and make a flat recess around the center hole. Use some glue that bonds wood to metal like gorilla glue and put a small bead in the recess. Next, hammer a 3/8 T-nut into that recess. Put your first block in and staple all 4 corners, use wood glue on the bottom. Next, put the block in with the T-nut, have the T-nut facing towards the floor. Glue and staple it in, but on all 4 sides so you don't hit your previous staples. Last, glue and staple your 3rd block on top, stapling all 4 of the corners. Repeat on all 4 assemblies, and install leg levelers. Now the T-nuts are trapped, and no way for them to cock to one side or pull out.

This works very well, and i have yet to see a williams game that something with the leg levelers or blocking isn't messed up.
