I purchased this phoenix about 2 months ago, has been off for most of the time (working on other projects). I installed a cap kit in the monitor without a problem (some time ago). Tonight I replace the width coil, turn her back on and....no bleep. Crap. Monitor shows signs of life (glow). turn it off. check all of the wiring..nothing different, turn her back on....and now no power. I double checked all my wiring and I haven't hooked anything up incorrectly.

replaced the fuse just now, still dead. My multimeter has the batteries drained, can't check the harness or the power supply right now. I am wondering though, could I take out the stock phoenix supply (110v) and put a new 15A switcher in there? Would this be kosher?

Did you put the horizontal width coil in wrong?

Start a game and can hear it play blind?

Turn up the brightness on the flyback and see raster?
