Oh no. Fed Ex guy pushing palette bumps into my Crossbow

Didn't hit the machine hard, just tapped the bottom right "toe" that sticks out. But a good crack in it. I'm so pissed.

Call to Fed Ex to claim the damage has me getting the run-around.

I took a delivery on a palette the other day at my storage unit. It was raining very, very hard. The deliveryman, trying to get out of the rain, began pushing the palette too fast into my storage unit. I saw the potential collision due to his being stupid, and tried to stop him. Unfortunately, he didn't completely stop, as he had too much speed.

Was shocked at how much damage could be done by a small tap, because that is all it was. But the palette had 1,560 lbs at least on it, so the weight behind the lack of speed was enough to do the damage.

I'll snap a pic real soon and post it. I'm so bummed!

When you signed for it,did you make a note about the damage?

Yes, I wrote on the receipts and the driver called someone and I talked to them. I think they deal with a lot of damaged packages, but it is very rare to deal with damaged items from running a palette into it.
