Oh no! An upgrade has reduced New (All) results to only the first 100

Can a moderator please set it back to 20 pages? It's so helpful for those of us that aren't able to visit every day and see what we missed.

awesome thanks!

Both of you get rep :)

and i just changed the setting and refreshed but it's still stuck... But i'll try logging out, etc and hopefully it eventually works.

User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Age Cut Off
Yours is probably on "Use Forum Default" now. Change it to "Show all threads."

Something else is going on. Something changed. I have (and always had) "show all threads". If I clicked on "New (All)", I used to get 21 pages worth, but just a couple days ago, now all I get is 4 pages.

Agreed. I always use New(All) and only get 4 pages now. :(

I did the user CP mods listed above and see single threads with hundreds of pages, so that works as a fix for individual sections but not for "searches".

i've already answered this. the owner (greg) changed it from 500 results down to 100 to
resolve some slow sql queries that was causing timeouts/errors, until that is fixed or the
forum software is upgraded, you'll just have to deal with 100 max results until then...

board growing pains it sounds to me. Try the search in the goog using "site:forums.arcade-museum.com"

Why do we have to deal with 100? What's wrong with asking Greg to set it back to 500? That's how we're dealing with it, we're asking Greg to set it back to 500, or even 1000.

If 500 was causing errors, and 100 is too few (I don't know, I don't use the feature frankly)... perhaps he should bump it to 250 to see if that would make folks happy AND prevent sql query timeout issues...

Getting slow sql querys to run fast on large data sets is what I do for work.

I'd be happy to help out if you are interested in extra help.
