So I got up this morning, It was raining. So what not a better time to go clean the games out. I started with the Star wars. I pulled off the marquee and pulled the bulb out to clean. Then I powered it up again after cleaning it out to see it it still worked and there it was... The monitor was glowing on and big letters came on the screen saying STAR WARS, and I though WTHeck!!! It ALIVE!! So I got to play my first game of Star Wars on it. I guess its a lose connection or something. Thank god for that though, because I wouldn't of got this game at that price if it wasn't for that. :) So now I need to find what's loose. But still, so cool I haven't had that happen before. What do you guys think?

That's awesome. Yeah, I'm sure there's dozens of stories of guys getting games cheap because something was loose or the seller didn't know how to power the game on.

One of my first cabinets ever was a JAMMAtized Moon Patrol cabinet. Had Desert Assault installed in it. Guy said it didn't turn on and I could have it if I picked it up. I picked it up, brought it back and decided to see if I could figure out what was wrong with it. Went to plug it in and...no power cord. I cut up another power cord and hooked it up, game fired right up. Not sure if he thought it ran on batteries or solar power or what.

One time I picked up a NARC that the guy thought didn't work . Turned out the backdoor wasn't pushed in all the way so the interlock switch kept it from coming on . And the Galaga I got wasn't working , turned out the wires to the power supply were just a little loose . Picking up nonworking games is the best ,

non workers are the only ones i can afford... and yes sometimes its great.. othertimes it sucks when you get into a nightmare..

both of you sw guys are super uber lucky!

For all of you guys who pick up those great deals out there, congrats. . . P.S. You can also kiss my big white hairy A$$ . . . . .
