Well, long and short I did something stupid, unplugged /plugged in the power connector on a Wizard of Wor PCB cage while the power was on. I figured it would reboot, not kill it.

Background is that the picture on the monitor was having a white line "ghosting" the red and blues, off to the side a bit. Also the sync would fail at times. I assumed it was the monitor (which may still be an issue), so I recapped the WG4600 and put it back together to no change in behavior.

I noticed the game board sometimes came up, sometimes didn't as I was trying to test.
so happened the power connector FUBAR.

Well, now it might come up to a blue screen, red screen or no screen and no playing blind either. The voltages were pretty close on at 4.88v, 12.33v, and -5 or so.

Any ideas.....

Found damage to the wire harness where the shelf assembly rubbed the insulation off some of the wires.
Always something, just curious if me unplugging the power on the card rack did the deed or the wires now...

Bought the guts from a non-working machine. Will see if I can combine them into a working set. Hopefully the wire harness will be good too.

Nice buy on the guts there. That's how I got my WOW going. Bought (5) non-working boardsets for $75, pulled the cards and was able to make (3) working games! Took awhile to test all the cards, but worth it.

It sounds like a video signal issue if your just getting a red, blue or white screen. Had that problem before.
