**********Pacman Classic Arcade Replica*************** - $700 (Farmington)

Date: 2012-08-22, 7:46PM CDT

This is a tabletop version of the classic Pacman. It has 60 games including Galaga, Donkey Kong, 1942. Tank Battalion, etc. Love those old games? This is a great addition to your game room, family room, etc.

At first I was going to give this one a pass—not because of price ($700? Dream on.) but, because I've seen uglier and multi-machines have collaborated art before. But the different SIZES of the sides of the cabinet to represent Pac-Man and DK and looking like the whole thing is combined together in the middle is just inexcusable... It's a fugly POS. It's so strange that people apparently have the skills to build something cool, but when it comes to design, it's like they didn't graduate middle school.

Actually I kind of like it. He obviously put a lot of work into it. And he didn't gut (ruin) any DK or Pac machines to install that 60-in-1, which is a plus.

Now do I think he's correct in his pricing? HELL NO! He's way off base there.

Batman didn't make it in time!

Someone threw acid at a perfectly good aracde game...

Two-face arcade game is born!

Ready to wreck havoc on the arcade community for $700!!!

I kind of like it too...

I don't know if he built it though I have seen that before.

I kind of like how he replicated the tops of each machine.. Flat on the DK side and rounded on the Pac side....

I don't think it's too bad. He did a pretty nice job with it, and I actually like the split color scheme.

What I think he should've done different was to use the front for the monitor and not put the coin mech there. He should've located it on the side like the old Merit red countertop games.

All in all, I don't feel it's worth the money but it's not as bad as what some make it out to be.

Looks ok from the side as long as the other side is out of site. Has an identity crisis. Would have been great with artwork matching a single game.
