My hippy friends always used to say that this Coke logo got canceled because it looks like a guy in a hat snorting coke. The line goes right into his nose. I'm pretty sure they were high when they came up with this theory.

I drink coke, but mt dew has been a favorite for me. Tried the throwback md once, and it was fine. My problem is, it seems pepsi is getting rid of mtn dew code red. They stopped stocking it at the vons and stater brothers near me, and I can't find a fast food restaurant aside from yoshinoya that even has regular mtn dew instead of sierra mist (which is nasty). I don't go to kfc because they make you get a drink with any box meal, but all their sodas suck.

Maybe it's a long beach thing...

I knew someone that was and addict for Mountain Dew... When out at a restaurant, she would use the term Fountain Dew to indicate the difference.
