Time to restock your soda machines!

Pepsi Throwback is back until Sept 4th, or while supplies last.

Got myself 8 cases today at 4 for $11 + deposit. SIKED!

The taste of original pepsi instantly brings me back to the food court in the mall outside my favorite arcade in the 80's.

Give me a can of Pepsi and a tube of Pringles and I'm a happy man.

Does this include Dr. Pepper?

I hated throwback Dr. P at first, but once I purged the poisonous HFCS from my system the stuff was excellent. Then after it went off the shelves, regular Dr. P tasted like garbage.

I really liked the throwback Pepsi, but the case of throwback Mountain Dew I had tasted flat.

Throwback Dr. Pepper has been available the last week or so out here. Real sugar is so much better'n that stupid HFCS garbage. Yick.

The Mt. Dew was crap. It tasted like Mello Yellow mixed with wallpaper glue.

I liked the Mountain Dew.
The Dr. Pepper was real good also.
The Pepsi took a little getting used to,it tasted kinda like diet at first but got better the more I drank.
Others have said the same thing about the diet like taste.

You can always get the original Dr. Pepper in Texas.

I agree that Pepsi throwback is better and I need to stock-up more than last time. :)

Wow. We've had the throwback Pepsi and Mountain Dew since before summer began. Three months now. Then again, New Bern is the birthplace of pepsi...

"Throwback" was available earlier this year in limited quantities for a VERY brief period of time. Around March or April at the LATEST. I was told by the Pepsi guy that it would be "brought back" some time in the summer. Guess now is the time...

Interesting, we've had throwback Mt Dew available since it came out. I guess going out and buying 10 cases right away helped them recognize the need....:D

I think I've only gone 2 days without any in the house since they brought it back. If the Wally World doesn't have it HEB or Kroger's usually does.

+1! I'd never guess that sugar vs. high fructose corn syrup would make so much of a difference...

It sure makes a big difference.
You can really taste the different flavors in the Dr. Pepper.
The first taste of the throwback stuff and I immediately remembered that familiar taste from days gone past.
I wish they would just produce both versions but HFCS is just too cheap.:(

Now if they would only put the stuff back in glass bottles i'd be in heaven.Maybe it wasn't the glass bottles, maybe it was the sugar.I don't know, but as a kid pepsi in glass bottles just tasted so much better and it stayed cold longer.By the way,i like all the throwback products.

Me & a few friends were just discussing this the other day...does anyone here know exactly when they made the switch to HFCS? They must've been pretty sneaky doing it! But I have to agree-the Throwback is sooo much better tasting...it really does bring you back...

I can get the cane sugar Dr. pepper in bottles all over the place in Texas. They have one bottler that never switched from the imperial cane sugar in Dublin, TX. Also of interest, my Costco had Coca-Cola Mexico bottles the last time I went. These are not the little vending machine bottles, but are the full sized ones you used to love to find when collecting deposit bottles as a kid. Granted you can get both coke or pepsi in the big bottles from Mexico in various Mexican food places around here, it was cool to see them at Costco.

Not a big Pepsi fan, I'm all about Coke.

Just this week my Costco finally had cases of Mexican coke with Cane Sugar. Such a difference. I'm enjoying one right now. Makes me wish I had a vending machine in the collection.
