OFFICIAL THREAD for Asahi Seiko Parts (Nintendo Coin Mech)

I'm not sure what the story with this thread is, but for what it's worth Asahi is still selling Nintendo Coin Mechs if you want brand new ones. When we talked to our rep, he told us that he doesn't like working with individuals, but has no problems putting together orders for company accounts. All he needs is a part number and a photograph of what you're needing to replace. Since it's hard to source one or two of these, there's a nice little opportunity for someone who wants to buy $500 worth and then resell them for parts.

If you wouldn't mind PM'ing me your reps info I would appreciate it. I used to have a few reps there and they told me that they were no longer allowing for US buyers to place orders and that they made an exclusive deal with MikesArcade.com allowing only them to supply this region with their parts and mechs. Perhaps that has changed. I will look into that. I would still appreciate the info from you if you are willing though. My previous orders were not small and my future orders would not be either.

I would hope that exclusive agreement is no longer valid since the dip ship Mike no longer stocks most of the parts.

I batch up the small custom orders and put them in with my regular orders to Asahi. So it may take a while...

Email me what you need and I can get the parts your looking for. And, the more requests, the more likely I'll add the parts as a regular items to the store.

Any suggestions on how to make it easier for you guys to submit custom orders would be helpful too.

Best,

How much do you charge for the custom orders?

You can buy from Asahi Seiko USA

A previous post mentioned it - Salesmen are salesmen and there is pressure to sell. Asahi Seiko (AS) is no different. The AS sales reps need to be able to throw fingers in their competing sales persons face and say @%# &*
And that means selling as much as they can. Small orders add up, but I am sure they dont want to go back and forth with multiple questions.

I placed an order with them and added some of their items to my store
P.S. I ship fast, cheap and Whoa, Hold it, Hang on there.... I refund excess shipping dollars that YOU paid. I even pass on my 10% USPS shipping discount on to you. I use regional rate boxes as well, which saves even more. (Shameless plug for me, but hey... Ya Gotta Make the Sales, or you go under.

NERDtendo, You should get back into this - you are the go to guy when parts are needed (I Still have items I bought from you a long time ago)
-- Maybe drop some IRS Tax refund and get it going again?
