OFFICIAL THREAD for Asahi Seiko Parts (Nintendo Coin Mech)
I was notified by Asahi Seiko USA that they are no longer going to support coin mechanisms. They are going to refer all customers who need replacement parts to MikesArcade. This means that what I have in stock is all I am able to get. Once I am out then that's it. I will update my first post to reflect items that I have in stock. If an item is out of stock it will not show up in this post.
You are responsible for the part cost, shipping cost and PayPal fees. If you really want to send as gift payment then I won't stop you but I prefer to keep this as legit as possible. I will be using this site for the PayPal fees calculator... SaleCalc
If you want to place an order: PM me with the parts and quantities that you need along with your location. I will respond with your total and my PayPal email. If I do not have the quantities you seek or run out of a part I will let you know and allow you to revise your order or be placed on a "Notify when in stock" list.
SHIPPING COST:
Shipping will be entirely done in flat-rate USPS boxes. This is to make everything as simple and fluid as possible. Whatever will fit into the size box is the shipping cost for the entire order. Delivery Confirmation is included in all of the shipping prices (Delivery Confirmation is only available for shipments in the U.S.). Here are the prices directly from USPS:
Small Falt-Rate Box: $5.80 (domestic) / $19.95 (Canada & Mexico) / $23.95 (all other locations)
Medium Flat-Rate Box: $12.35 (domestic) / $40.95(Canada & Mexico) / $59.95 (all other locations)
Large Flate-Rate Box: $16.85 (domestic) / $53.95 (Canada & Mexico) / $77.95 (all other locations)
This is the official list of parts that I available.

730-A Cancel Cam ($1.50 each) ONLY 2 LEFT
730-A Set Screw ($0.50 each)
730-A MicroSwitch Mounting Set (2 screws for mounting microswitch to the coin mech) ($1.00 each)
730-A Face Plate Mounting Set (2 screws and 2 washers for mounting the face plate to the coin mech) ($1.00 each)
Upgrades:
Return Cup Large ($5.50 each)
NOTICE ABOUT BUGLES: There are two different types of Bugle. Be sure to specify which model your want in your order if ordering them separately.
NOTICE ABOUT RETURN CUPS: The large return cups will only fit on the Model 740.
Here are the differences between the two model coin mechs...
First, the Model 740 uses a cancel button for coin reject and the Model 730-A uses a lever.
Second, the microswitch assembly on the Model 740 is located on the bottom with the connectors pointing down and the Model 730-A has the microswitch assembly mounted on the side with the connectors pointing out to the left.
Third, which is an extension of the second, is that since the connectors on the Model 740 are flat and facing down as soon as the new mechs were installed and the coin door was shut for the first time the lack of clearance from the coin box causes the first two connectors (which have wires connected to them) to bend. It doesn't affect the function, but it does expose a slight design flaw as this is not an issue with the Model 730-A.
The Model 730-A is a better quality, more sturdily built mechanism in that the lever coin return functions much better than the push button of the Model 740 and tends to require less maintenance. This is why the Model 730-A is more expensive.
The Model 740 was generally standard on the original Donkey Kong and the Model 730-A was generally standard on the Donkey Kong Junior cabs.
Both models are correct on any Nintendo machine in the sense that Nintendo used both mechs and it is not uncommon for operators back in the day to upgrade and change mechs based on quality, availability, and pricing.
6 x Lockout Security Mechanism for Model 740 Mechs (stops coins from being inserted into the coin mech when power to the machine is off…requires +12VDC…no harness included) ($5.00 each)
