Since we are Jacking the other threads, I thought that I'd throw this one out there.

this one is before I got the T-molding on there.

and a big blue I sold off. See what happens when you don't shim the joysticks.

Hoping to have a CP to add to this thread in a couple weeks.

I noticed that my sticks were bolted to the CP with four screws each. All of the pictures of yours above don't have any of the. How are you sticks attached to your CPs?

Thanks, Jeff

For mine, there are four long bolts for each joystick on the underside. The joysticks are screwed into place with nuts and washers.

Hey - thanks for the quick response. Are the bolts attached to the underside of the CP? Mine is a similar set-up, but 4 screws go through the CP.

Thanks, Jeff

Yup, attached. I believe they are welded on at factory. They are like bolt screws without the heads. I can take a picture later if you want.

Awesome - that Prairied thread is exactly what I needed. Thanks a lot.

I might look at slighly angling the holes, then using undercut screws to get a flat surface. I really like the looks of your CPs with no bolt tops around the stick.

the factory setup for Dynamo corner cuts have welded studs in place. Sometimes they break off and fall through the holes. Bolt on sticks are usually on CPs that have been converted to something else.

This seems like a good place to ask this question: is there a button color chart/guide for the various Capcom games?

For example, I know some of the older SFII's were red, white, and blue, and New Challengers/ST is red, green, blue. But what about the later games like the Alpha series, 3rd Strike, MvC2, CvS2 etc? Did suggested button colors exist?

Speaking of CvS2, what's a good price to pay for that Naomi GDROM rig in a Dynamo cab?

A good place to get this info is the manuals. I believe all CPS2 games had the Red, Green, Blue scheme.

Just searched and they used r,g,b at least until CvS2

I bought this mainly to play SF2 Hyper Fighting. I heard this cabinet came out the same year as Street Fighter 2 and it is also originally wired for cps1.
