Official Nintendo Neon Sign - Red and White Racetrack Design

This to me, is the most iconic of the Nintendo neon signs.

Here are pictures:

Note that the straight on shots make the sign look yellower than it is, due to a bad white balance, but the sign is bone white, which you can see on the ones I took on top of the Playchoice. I think it looks awesome on a Playchoice as a huge "topper".

There are some nicks to the covering (I can't tell if it's vinyl or paint) of the neon and there is a small scratch on the top portion of the sign. It's nothing really objectionable, though. It's also missing one little vinyl dust cap, which covers the metal bars, but if it bothers you you can get what look to be perfect replacements of all of them for around $10 online or pretty close approximations on eBay for $4 shipped.

This will be packed exceedingly well in a double walled cardboard box with tons of bubble wrap to protect the neon.

I'm asking $250 plus actual shipping (which I'll figure out from your ZIP code.)

Thanks!

doesn't surprise me. It was a reasonable price, but out of my budget at the moment. Really cool piece :) If I had one I wouldn't let it go, but can't afford one to purchase.

Glad you were able to get your price out of it.

This IS the best Nintendo neon ever made IMO. I bought one last week on Ebay (for $155+$20 shipping, which I thought was a great price!). It arrived this Monday and is freaking awesome in person!

Yeah, it is hands down my favorite Nintendo neon. I love the glow on it too, which is difficult to capture; most pictures make it look white or bright orange, but it is a gorgeous red.

That was a great deal! I got mine for about that price, but I had to complete an actual fetch quest first. Someone had put it up on my local craigslist for more than I wanted to spend, but they also put they would trade it for something. I contacted the guy and he didn't want anything I had, but what he was really looking for a nice air compressor. A few days later I actually ran into one at a Goodwill (priced accordingly at $125, though). I ended up buying it with a coupon, but after going over it, I found out it was missing a needed filter and a few of the rubber feet had broken off. I then sourced out those parts, borrowed my dad's air tools, and drove it to the guys house in the middle of nowhere, so he could test it out. He liked it, and the deal was done. I kinda felt like I had just traded for the master sword, or something like that. :)
