hey guys i just picked up a ivan stewarts super off road/trackpak..

it played blind. I found a power issue keeping the k7000 for powering on..

i repaired that, it plays, put the pic wont sync up...

can someboddy take a pic of how thier monitor is hooked up??? or does anyone have the manual???

thanks

(p.s. this game is standard res right?)

THANK YOU KEN!!!

also the monitor was run WITHOUT the crt ground connected...

so im afraid i may have some monitor chassis or board issues was well..

but ill check the wiring and go form there...

The game wiring harness has two signal connectors going to the k7000 monitor. There's a three pin connector with the red-green-blue video signal. There's also a three pin connector with ground-neg vert sync-neg horiz sync.

wiring verified... now i get to pull boards and see what got fried.. yay

why is it everytime i get a game that plays blind it jus thas to have board issues too??? BOO

I had a problem once where switcher power supplies were being eaten left and right in this game. Turns out someone at one time had reversed the hot and neutral power leads going to the power supply. When the frame ground got hooked up.....kapow! Fortunately, once I saw the schematics and followed everything through, I saw where the hot and neutral were reversed and corrected (as well as marked the wires properly) the problem. Everything is grounded properly and works fine now. The only damage had been done to the switcher power supply.....monitor & gameboard were ok.

This was in the 3 player dedicated cabinet. I think the smaller 2 player cabinet has the same wiring.

Be advised the gameboard's flat white Molex KK style power connector likes to burn. So I install the trifurcon pins to stop the burning.

yeah i kinda got lucvky here... hooked up a working 19" k7000 and gameboard outputs good video..

so this is a first for me... a k7000 that works but wont sync.... weired...
