I have 3 Off Road Challenge machines. Two of them are set up as player 1 and the last machine is set up as player 2. I am able to have linked play between machines that are master/slave, but when I try to add another master machine it will ignore the other master and play solo. I saw several dip switched in the back but couldn't guess at what each one controlled and I am lacking a manual. Does anyone have any info on this so that I can hook up all three into linked play? Thanks

To get all three linked up and working, you need to designate each machines as either Player 1, Player 2, or Player 3.

You want to find the Dip Switch 2, and for each corresponding Player, set it's Dip Switch 2 settings to the following:

Player 1: Switch 1- Off / Switch 2- Off / Switch 3- On
Player 2: Switch 1- Off / Switch 2- On / Switch 3- On
Player 3: Switch 1- On / Switch 2- Off / Switch 3- On

In addition to that, your choices on each machine for the remaining switches on Dip Switch 2 are:

Switch 5: Roadkill On/Off
Switch 6: Added Girl Attraction On/Off
Switch 7: Gear Shift Switch Position....

Let me know if you have any other questions. I've got a manual, but not in PDF form. If people would really like it I can scan it and send it, but it might take a few days.

Hope this helps....

Forgot to add, Player 1 cable is set as master, and Player 2 and 3 are both set as slaves....

Thanks, that info helped me incredibly. One more question I do have is in reference to Switch 7: Gear Shift Switch Position. What exactly goes on with this one? I noticed that only one of my machines has this set to ON and it just happens to be the same machine where the gear shifter is not recognized. This may or may not be related to the switch position but it just got me wondering. Thanks again

I'm thinking that it has something to do with automatic gear switch, so I would recommend just turning it off, and doing a trial and error. It doesn't really say anything in the manual about it.
