From what I understand, they were only installed on the back as operators would install their own locks on the coin doors. Does anyone know for sure?

Any word on the availability of the lock and key sets?

I have the lock but it's missing the part (I'm not sure of the technical name) that actually swings out and stops the door from opening. I'd buy a lock just to get that part.
