Little bit off-topic... but may be of interest...

Watched the Pacman cocktail episode too...

Guy asked for $200... ended up getting $175.
They invested $350 in the 'restoration' for a total cost of $525
Guy who 'restored' it told them it could net "$1000 - $1200".

Yeah...I like pawn stars...its funny to see one subject...arcade games and pinballs that we are more knowledgable than the pawn star experts...:D I think one of our local klovers needs to get some camera time and be the one that Rich calls to get an expert opinion on value when a game or pinball pops up on the show....they use a lot of different experts depending on the item...the arcade games and pins should be no different...

Yeah, the restoration charge was ridiculous, and I can't see that pin selling for anywhere near what they put into it ($4k), much less a profit. I think the PawnStar guys are pretty sleazy. And the one guy is no way an "expert" on everything;I crack up when he spouts obscure facts and history of things. Like we don't KNOW that it's scripted! The guy is no Jeopardy champion.

according to the ipdb glossary:
Pop Bumper —
The name used by Gottlieb to describe active bumpers. See Bumper for a description.

Google is your friend...

Yeah, I know what a "pop bumper" is. When I googled "pop bumber" nothing official came up, just a bunch of posts by people who appear to be referring to "pop bumpers." Am I missing something?
