Cocktailswanted "Caber-Tail" thread has inspired me to find and collect odd ball cabinet images and post them here.

First up, is some sort of a generic JAMMA cabinet:

Next up is a "Namco Fun Cube". Possibly a conversion but it could be the original cabinet. Looks vaguely similar to the Nintendo Caber-Tail machine.

Next is Nintendo's Block Fever from 1970.

Doesn't look much different from a bog-standard Nintendo cocktail to me.

Dedicated cabinets have always been a little off-the-wall, but in recent years they're getting REALLY crazy.

I've been told these turned up at a trade show in Japan, so they count:

Bemani in general deserves a special mention, but of particular note are the new Guitar Freaks / DrumMania cabinets. Believe it or not, this is an arcade machine:

It links with this for 3-player play:

Aren't these rare Nintendo cabs? Someone was restoring one a little while back..
Even looks like the original Nintendo stuff is inside of them.. Wooden coin box, power supply, mechs, etc..

Here's a couple of mine. Pole Position is mid-restoration.

Yep, as is the Pole Position!

is that odd and unique enough? my beloved RALLY - a 70s combination of wood and fiberglass (photo taken before its restoration - which is still going on)

Nice one, Ully! I'm pretty sure the local surplus electronics store had one about 5 years ago. I vaguely recall it ending up with a "sold" sign on it.
