My Sea Wolf has been solid for the past few weeks now after I replaced all the edge connectors, but now it's doing something really strange. I use tokens in my games, and when I coin up the SW with the left coin drop, it works fine. When I coin it up with the right coin drop, the game will start but within seconds I notice graphics glitches and garbage on the screen, and sometimes it will just reset. I can play the game as much as I want by coining up with the left switch, but just one attempt to coin up with the right leads to these problems.

I've read through a few threads that point to the optocouplers on the pcb as being a known problem for coin up problems. Does anyone think that may be the root of my problem? I guess if worse comes to worse, I'll just wire the right coin switch in parallel with the left...

Sounds like maybe the coin meter transistor is getting stuck on maybe? Could be the optos but I kinda doubt it. On mine ive been having a hell of a time with the edge connector between the two boards...when they flake youll see a trail forming after the mines and the trail acts as a barrier...shooting it gets registered. Turning up the 12v a hair (12.2) seemed to help as well, as scrubbing the edge connector really really good with an eraser.

I have a similar problem on my Sprint2 cabinet, and I finally realised that it is the actual spring in the coin switch that doesn't bounce back properly. So the coin switch is always on after a coin is passed through and the game dosen't like that. Maybe it is the same on this one?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I cleaned the coin door switches, took the pcb out and reseated all the chips, cleaned the edge connector between the two boards, and reseated ALL of the connections on the wiring harness (sound board, power supply, edge connectors, coin door, etc.) and so far it's been rock solid and working fine when coined up from either coin drop. It may have been one thing or a combo, but the main thing is now it's working! If the problem recurrs I'll update this thread.
