Here is a perfect example of The Fates playing the "Figure this one out, F*cker" game. A few days ago while going to my car, I saw a small piece of paper on my front walkway so I picked it up to throw it away later. Heavy bond paper, folded in half, looked like a part of a ripped up larger sheet. It looks well travelled and worn. I stuffed it in my pocket and had forgotten about it by the time I was home again. Until this morning. I retrieved it and unfolded it to see what it was. My first thought was WTF, followed by why this and why there and why just then? What were the odds? Another one of life's minor mysteries I guess.

I now know what it is and what it probably came from since the back is blank. Strange.

Vintage backdoor scroll papyrus probably from some ancient Egyptian game. Nice. The Fates are speaking to you. :)

Mystery solved. George's reply got me thinking so I went up to the attic to check. SOAB! A squirrel has made a nest in my front eaves. They used all of the top of a cardboard box containing a Gravitar CP and marquee for nesting material. Ray must have included a backdoor sheet too but it's all gone now. I found their entrance and I guess a piece of the nest (the mystery paper) came from there. At least the CP and marquee are untouched.

Pics of squirrels needed.

God I hate f*cking squirrels. One year I threw out 7x 5-gallon buckets of walnuts they had stashed in my shed (which they destroyed). Another year, they nested in my grill.... I was seriously considering adopting a bunch of feral cats to keep the population down, but then we moved.
