I'm having an odd issue with the "Capture" hole on my BH. This issue just started happening yesterday.
In the coil test, the capture hole ejects a ball back down the playfield just fine. In game, it just barely pushes on the ball and allows the ball to fall right back down into the saucer. If I put a ball in the eject before starting a game, the game will eject the ball out to drain out, then start the game since all 3 balls are now off the playfield. What this will do instead is constantly try to push the ball out of the saucer and never get it to eject.
Also, per the game rules, if you capture a ball and then lose the next ball it gives you, it should eject the captured ball down the drain. Instead this will just barely push the ball out, let the ball fall back into the eject hole, and then think you've captured the ball again.
I don't see what the issue could be. The eject coil works fine in the test, just not in game. I've also had a couple of times where you can capture the ball, then during the next ball it will just eject it out properly after a few seconds for no reason. Free "multiball" I guess
