My Paperboy is in the need of a brand new 25A 32V slow blow fuse, but here around is no more available because "obsolete". Now, is there a rule of thumb, like with capacitors in which you must keep the capacity value constant but you can use higher voltage caps? Can i use, for example, a 25A 250V fuse?

thanks

Thanks for the link. They are obsolete "here around" or at least this is what my dealer said looking at me like he was having an alien request :D

3AG sized glass fuses are still available in 25 amp and are only made in 32V versions by the two biggest manufacturers.

Slow fuses:
Littelfuse part number 313025
Bussmann part number MDL-25

Normal (fast) fuses:
Littelfuse part number 312025
Bussmann part number AGC-25

Littelfuse tends to change their part numbering suffixes often (not shown above) but the base numbers above will still apply.
