Nyogel = lithium grease? for Ice Cold Beer lubrication

One of the belts on my Ice Cold Beer keeps popping off during operation. It feels like the upper pulley wheel is sticking a bit when I turn it manually.

The operator's manual recommends lubricating it with "lithium grease" every 60 days. Is the Nyogel used on Food Fight joysticks an acceptable substitute? I have a tube of it handy, so if it's ok to use, it'll save me a bit on lithium grease.

Lithium grease is cheap and readily available from pretty much any hardware store. Your Nyogel is not. I'd just buy some Lithium grease and use that to save your Nyogel, but that's just my opinion.

I agree. They're definitely not the same either, though I don't know that it wouldn't work. Nyogel is kinda sticky, while lithium grease is just greasy.
