I am trying to assemble a NTE part number list for items that commonly fail on a K700 series monitor. Does anyone know what the NTE is for D19 - D22? ? I looked it up on the conversion chart and got a little messed up on it because there is one with a GP on it. Any and all help is appreciated.

D19-D22 are the bridge rectifier diodes on a K7000, but I wouldn't say they are a common failure item. Ususally I just look up part numbers in the original service manual and search the NTE website's cross reference section. Is that how you are looking them up? Not sure on the "GP" marking.

well the reason I am saying common failure is because 2 of my k7191s have 2 shorted diodes d20 and d21. I tried to search NTE by the part number from the manual and I didn't have any luck. I searched 066X0091 and got nothing. I then searched the number off of the diode in quesiton 1n5061. When you search that it also shows a GP part as well. I wouldn't have a question except that also on the diode in question there is a GP below the number and to the left.

Sorry I guess I am all sorts of ways jacked up. I thought the 7000 and the 7191s were pretty interchangeable talking about the functions of them. I got the chassis up and running. I made sure the flyback I put on it matched the one that came off it. When I get back I will post some pictures. All I know is I have 8 WG k7somethings that I need to figure out what to do with. Thanks.

Some peope seem to get the regular WG K7000 and the Zenith K7000A mixed up. Since someone learned about the K7000A, it seems everyone now has to mention it whenever a K7000 repair post occurs.

As far as K7191, K7197, K76xx, K79xx, etc. goes, don't worry about it. A K7000A looks different in the way the side wall along the left side and toward the back is shaped. If you have ever seen a normal K7000 series, you'll immediately notice the difference if you get a K7000A....
