I'm looking to pick up a Solid Gold this weekend. I'm a jukebox n00b, just wondering if anyone knows what the typical value of these are?

It's fully working (as far as I know) but doesn't come with cd's. I've not seen a single working jukebox for less than what I agreed to pay in this area. I don't know if they are all overpriced or if it's just not a buyer's market at this time.

Also, being a newbie I don't know what red flags to look for. Is there anything I should specifically look for before handing over the $$?

Thanks...

Hope you can read German.

Not quite sure what to make of that. Directions in German? Schematics? Troubleshooting website that I will be frequenting?

Fortunately I can pick out some key words so it might not be so bad. I was thinking about picking up another language anyway. :)

NSM's are made in Germany and all the labeling on the various assemblies are in German. The manuals are in several languages. The schematics use European symbols and not normal symbols.

NSM likes to use DIN connectors and European connectors not commonly found in the USA.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.

Well, I picked it up for $350. Hopefully I didn't overpay but it seemed worth it to me. It sounds great and plays the 1 cd it currently has spectacularly. I just can't figure out how to select a specific (different) track on the same cd and have it play, except to skip using the button in the back. I don't know if it has a bunch of songs queued up or what.

It's a little dusty but it looks to be in great shape. It looks so tacky it will fit in perfectly. :)
