I started getting several error messages on this juke, as if it had lost its settings.
After power cycling it a bit and checking some settings. it started showing an error 80 message, after powering it on, with a flashing "press clear" button, but you can never clear the error.
According to the manual, it's a wall box short issue. But, there isn't a wall box, nor is there anything plugged into the wall box input on the main board.
Some research online showed me that it was probably the timer/batter at IC5 that needed to be replaced, and this was causing the issues (made sense).
Found a new part, put it in this weekend, and it came up and acted like it was going to work for a brief moment. I started programming in required settings like freeplay, and scanning the discs for total number of tracks, etc... and the error 80 showed back up. The memory does still hold the settings though, so the battery is good.
Any ideas on where to go next?
