Hello,

I have a firebird II was working great and all of the sudden I lost all power. I checked the power cord and it is good. When I hit the power switch I get nothing at all. Do you think it is the transformer or something with the power supply? Or could it be something more simple like the switch going bad? I appreciate any input

chk the main fuses
there is 2 of them just after the power switch
where it wires into a what looks like a white box
it should have a philps screw covering it
if u have a meter ? then un-plug the unit and test the fuses
see if they are blown/open
they are 5a so u should beable to tell rather easy

Thanks for the advice. The problem appears to be where the power cord connects in the back of the machine. I took the wires and off and connected another switch and it is working.
