I bought this boxer machine and its coin mech takes quarter and I want to switch it to tokens. Can this mech be programmed simply? If not does anyone know who can programming it for my tokens?

Unfortunately, you either need to take it in to a service center for programming, or have a programmer handy.

Edit to add:
I know Suzo-Happ can program them (that's where I got mine from), not sure who else.

New plan I just need this machine to take tokens. I just ordered http://www.ebay.com/itm/172521150514 Electronic Roll Down Coin Acceptor

The thing is now this thing is wired up to the boxer game(magic play) with this 10 pin plug. Finding 12v and ground easy but I guess I am going to try output pin 1 (pin 7) and see if that works. Anyway if anyone has ever done this to a machine that has one of these NRI mechs let me know.

And Ed I don't think I have the mech that I can program myself because it only has a 6 pin dip switch on it.

Thanks for the info about Happ foxtrot_xray if I was closer to them I would totally run it into them.

Sure!
A lot of the newer NRI's can't be programmed from home; I had assumed you had a newer one based on the label it had.

I can forward you a PDF of the pinouts for the 10-connector ribbon cable if you want. It has the coin switch pins and coin enables. Send me a PM if you want.
