Um, WOW!!!

Can honestly say I have never seen that before!

Chris

I said the same thing!! This has to go down in history as one of KLOV's most creative transports and there have been some good ones on here. I mean, you gotta get it home somehow and I probably would have done the same thing.

I'm just glad he was nice enough to help me load it... took us atleast 20 mins..

gas station adventure!

I've gotta get some more mileage out of my "Game crammed in a Kia" pic...

That's a Kia Spectra GS, the Breakshot not only fit, but the back hatch CLOSED, the game wasn't hitting the window, even over bumps.

One of Stuffmonger's threads had a pretty awesome photo like this.

Yup. I did that back in 05, I think. Also drove home an arkanoid on the roof, 3 capcom minicutes in the trunk, a naomi universal (dismantled), and a video action table (legs taken off) in that car. I miss my old volvo. All cabs listed were transported separately, obviously. It really is nerve racking to transport cabs like that.

I wish I had pics of some of the people that have picked up stuff from me over the years. A couple come to mind. The Crazy Climber in a Subaru Outback is one. Talk about a tight fit. The best was the Dodge Durango with two pinballs (heads removed for transport) and an Atari Football. I miss my old Ford E-150 cargo van (1989). I could lay down two uprights and still have room for a cocktail table. It also held pins quite well. We don't need those pesky rear seats anyway.

Very irresponsible. I see only one tie-down holding the game and trunk lid in place. One swerve could have sent both pieces flying. One hard braking could have put it on your roof and the back window. You want to risk yourself and your '79 Lincoln, that's fine. Putting other people at risk, that's not right. Please tell me you didn't have it on the highway.

you see only one holding the deck lid to the game. the game was strapped in separately

the 79 Lincoln has a very deep trunk because the gas tank is located just behind the rear axle.
the base of the cab was wedged in a hole that it fit inside of perfectly then was strapped
very tightly with ONE strap above the high center. then the deck lid was slid down into
the trunk lid in front of it. it didn't move without the strap, but of course i still strapped it in
to be safe...

so it was all in there very good and very tight..

but thanks.....dad

:p

and it was highway miles! ha ha!

the trunk is 5 by about 2 1/2 feet. and deeper than a truck bed. so all was safe and sound.

dud3e you should make the trunk mnount onsome streel whith hydraulics, so the trunk could flip over and befome a liftgate!! either wwy im proud of you lol..

i had a arctic cat el tigre snowmobile stuffed half in the trubk of my old delta 88! luckily i wasnt going too far
